Ellie lost her top tooth at the end of last week. We're still trying to get used to this new look!
Everson has been on a nap boycott. Today, he was in his bed for 45 minutes. Every 5 minutes or so, he'd yell, "MOM, is my nap done yet?" After wearing my voice out answering him, I let him get up. Less than 1 hour later, he fell fast asleep while watching PBS with the big kids.
SNOW! Everson was just beside himself this afternoon...supposedly napping....and yelling, "MOM there's SNOW on the GRASS! And it's on the trampoline, too!" Naturally, this is a 'first' snowfall for him. The big kids are in wonder over snow in TX...missing the snow in NY. I'm not missing the shoveling! It's about 23* here and things are getting really icy now. No salt on roads. Schools are already cancelled for tomorrow! Temps are supposed to go into the 40s on Thursday...getting NY-style cabin fever!

we got snow here too today. very exciting, most of our neighbors must have called into work to say they were "snowed in" or their work place closed down, because most everyone's car is still in the driveway...except sam of course!
the kids wanted to go out and play in the 1/2 inch of snow and had fun until they got wet and miserable and wanted to come in to get cozy and warm....
